Chumporn Pinnacle is considered by many as the best dive site around Koh Tao. The site consists of four interconnected, underwater pinnacles, which start at 14m below the surface and drop down to the bottom at about 36m.

Anenome FishA large area across the the top of Chumporn Pinnacle is covered with a carpet of sea anemones which are home to hundreds of pink anemone fish. Around some of the pinnacles away from the main rock you can find large schools of barracuda, tuna, snapper, trevally, batfish and fusiliers.

Resting on the rocks, usually near the bottom at about 26m you often find some very large groupers, while hiding Rabbit Fishin the many cracks and crevices around the rock you can find moray eels. As well as all these fish, you will also see the usual marine fish you find on most tropical reefs - Angel Fish, Parrot Fish, Wrasse and Rabbit Fish. If you look carefully enough you will also be able to find a few different kind of shrimps and hiding in amongst the coral and in the cracks you will find some very interesting and colourful crabs.

Grey Reef SharkChumporn Pinnacle is also the main dive site in the area for regular sightings of reef shark and the occasional whale shark. Because of the depth of the dive site, Chumporn Pinnacle is suitable for Advanced divers and divers that are comfortable in deep water that are looking to increase their experience.
