Chumporn Pinnacle is considered by many as the best dive site around Koh Tao. The site consists of four interconnected, underwater pinnacles, which start at 14m below the surface and drop down to the bottom at about 36m. The pinnacles are covered with sea anemones and pink anemone fish. There are large schools of barracuda, tuna, snapper, trevally, batfish and fusiliers. You can also see large groupers, moray eels and the usual marine life found on tropical reefs. Chumporn Pinnacle is the main dive site in the area for regular sightings of reef shark and the occasional whale shark.
