Hin Wong consists mainly of a large tabletop rock at 20m surrounded by several large boulders, with a maximum depth around the outside of 26m. The boulders provide interesting gulley’s and trenches to explore and there is also an array of soft corals and anemones scattered around the surrounding area.
Due to the depths of the site it is really only suitable for certified divers, and is not ideal for beginners and students.
Hin Wong has a great variety of marine life, including rays, shrimpfish, groupers, bannerfish, fusiliers, snappers and angelfish. It is also a good place to see turtles and sea snakes!
