Nangyuan Pinnacle is a rock formation that begins just below the surface. You can swim around the pinnacle down to a maximum depth of about 20m, before swimming across the sandy bottom to the reef which follows the eastern coast of Koh Nangyuan. If you follow the reef in a southerly direction you come to the popular Japanese Garden dive site.

Japanese Garden is another one of the dive sites located around Koh Nangyuan and is ideal for beginners and students and for a number of Adventure dives. The site is in a sheltered bay, with depths going to a maximum of 15m within the bay.
Experienced divers can go out of the bay either north or south where you can find a number of small caves and swimthroughs. A maximum depth of around 20m allows for a long, slow easy dive.
There is a good chance here to see the resident green and hawksbill turtles and also a number of blue spotted stingrays, unicorn fish and watch out for the banded sea snakes!
