Diving options for beginnersDISCOVER SCUBA DIVING This begins with a 15-20 minute swimming pool session to give you an introduction to breathing through a regulator, in the comfort of waist deep water. You will then take a trip to one of the fantastic dive destinations around Koh Samui, where you will do two dives under the supervision of one of our Instructors, to a maximum depth of 12 metres OPEN WATER DIVERIf you’ve always wondered what lies beneath the surface, now’s the time to find out. Start the journey of a lifetime with the PADI Open Water Diver course. It will change you forever. In the PADI Open Water Diver course, your PADI Instructor takes you through the basics of learning how to scuba dive. You start in a pool or pool-like conditions and progress to the open water (the ocean), getting the background knowledge along the way. Earning your PADI Open Water Diver certification is just the beginning. As a certified diver, fabulous dive destinations, exciting people, unparalleled adventure and uncommon tranquility await you. And, as you continue your adventure and gain experience through higher training levels, your opportunities expand. The Open Water Diver Course take 3-4 days and consists of Five Confined Water Dives and Four Open Water Dives. There are also Five Knowledge Development sessions to be completed before certification is complete.
To take the course students must be age 10 for Junior Open Water Diver and 15 for Open Water Diver. Good health, reasonable fitness and comfort in the water are also requirements. During the course you will use mask, fins, snorkel, tank, regulator, buoyancy compensator, submersible pressure gauge and wetsuits. We provide all of the equipment you will need to complete the course, and we will also advise you on equipment you may want to buy once you are certified, such as mask and fins. PADI SCUBA DIVERFor those that don't have the time to complete the Open Water Diver Course you can take the PADI Scuba Diver Course. The Scuba Diver Course teaches you the basics of how to dive safely and can be expanded upon at a later date to upgrade to Open Water Diver Course. The PADI Scuba Diver Course takes 2 days and consists of Three Confined Water Dives, Two Open Water Dives and Three Knowledge Development sessions. To take the Scuba Diver Certification students must be age 10 for Junior Scuba Diver and 15 for Scuba Diver and must also have Good health, reasonable fitness and comfort in the water. After you have obtained the PADI Open Water Certification you can progress to the Advanced Level Courses and eventually on to Professional level courses. Discover what lies beneath.....
