Equipment Sales The Dive Academy are a registered Mares Retailer and offer the full range of Mares Dive Equipment. We also offer equipment from other top name dive brands, including Scubapro, Seac Sub, Aqualung, Sea Quest and Suunto.
We only have a small selection available in our shops, but if you don't see what you want we will take you directly to the equipment suppliers where you can choose for yourself from the full range of equipment available. As well as our honest advice, students and customers of The Dive Academy will receive a 10% discount on any equipment they buy through us. For those that like to look good when they are diving most of the masks, fins and snorkels come in a variety of colours so you can make sure your basic equipment is colour coordinated. There are computers that you can use as an every day watch, there are computers that you put on only when you are diving and there are computers that connect to your dive equipment. We also provide a number of different options for SPG's and Depth Gauges and can advise on a variety of accsessories such as Compasses and torches.. The water temperatures around Koh Samui are usually around 28 degrees so often divers feel they can make do with diving in a Rash Vest or find a 3mm shorty is sufficient. We offer a range of Rash Vests and Wetsuits, both long and short. For ladies there is the Mares She-Dives range, which has wetsuits and Rash Vests designed specifically for ladies. A limited selection of thicker exposure suits is also available for those people who dive in colder water. There are many brands of regulator available and we will recommend what is best for you according to what you tell us about your diving. There are regulators to suit everybody's budget, experience level and the kind of diving you will mainly be doing. There are also regulators from the Mares She-Dives range which are designed for especially for women divers.
There are a variety of BCD's available, from BCD's designed specifically for women from the Mares She-Dives range (with masks, fins, wetsuits and rash vests to match) to BCD's designed especially for travelling.
