We will make sure you have a full understanding of the important safety concepts covered on the course before moving on to the practical skills. You will then watch the PADI Rescue Diver Course DVD, which introduces you to the Rescue Exercises you will need to learn for the course. On day 2 the fun really begins when we take you on the boat to a nice easy dive site where we put into practise what you learned in the classroom and watched on the DVD. We are  one of the only dive schools on the island that goes on the boat for 2 days during padi-rescue-course-koh-samui the Rescue Course, but we feel that to learn the skills properly you are better learning them in the environment you are most likely to use them – on a dive boat and in the sea – not in a swimming pool or off the beach next to your resort!! It is PADI Standards to complete the 10 rescue exercises in the sea so you will be completely prepared for what comes tomorrow. The final day of the course is also spent on the boat, where you will put into practise all of the skills you have learned on the course so far during 2 Rescue Scenarios. We will test you throughout the day by making sure that many things happen that shouldn’t – missing divers, divers with unexplained medical symptoms that need your help and anything we can think of to help you use your newly learned skills and to help you become a better Rescue Diver.
